Fernando Torres, the subject of much controversy since his momentous move from Liverpool to Chelsea, seems to finally be gaining traction. “El Nino” has had no easy road or free passes since coming to the Blue’s, hardship and struggle has plagued his career since leaving the Merseyside. Although he had previous groundbreaking years at Liverpool, Torres has had a tough time in Chelsea.

The future does seem to be getting brighter for the Spanish striker, in his last game scoring 2 magnificent goals against Rubin Kazan. It will be exciting to see if this momentum can continue and Fernando Torres can reclaim his elite striker status.

As I relax in the comfort of a small but well know Wisconsin tavern, the snow blowing and coming down. Warm and enjoying the never ending supply of coffee, hearing the bar tender mention the specials for the third or so time. The lifestyle seems relaxed and simple, slow moving and friendly. People talking about their friends and latest happenings in their lives, but as I listen (not that I am trying to eavesdrop, mind you) the conversations seem to mostly be based around technology. The latest app they have discovered that has changed their daily commute, or the faster way they have found to text.
